Commercial Careers Series 2019
Note: In light of the current circumstances surrounding COVID-19, physical sessions/presentations concerning our annual Commercial Careers Series have been cancelled. We are currently assessing the possibility of virtual accomodations and will update this space soon!
The Commercial Careers Series encompasses the following information sessions/presentation:
- A series of seminars by top and mid-tier commercial law firms, presenting everything you need to know about applying for seasonal clerkships. Firms will focus on what is required in the application process and what they will be looking for in future seasonal clerks and graduates. It is the perfect opportunity to find out more about the firms you might be applying for and hear first hand experiences from graduates or specialists in their field.
- Practical legal training information sessions
- Career planning workshops/information sessions for early year students. These will include a mix of HR representatives from firms, the Law Institute of Victoria Young Lawyers section, academics and also experts from the La Trobe Careers Centre.
- Networking and CV writing workshops
- Clerkship Success Panel
- Careers Cocktail Night

April 29 2019 – MinterEllison Firm Presentation
